I am fortunate to live in Montana, one of the most beautiful areas of the Untied States. The following photos are self explanatory and I find little need to intersperse them with words or commentary.
The pictures were taken by a group of dedicated fly fisherman who met near the Madison River just below Hebgen Lake in July of 2005.They come from all areas of the country but are united in their love of fly fishing and this extraordinary region of the country. However, this essay is not about fishing. They have graciously allowed me permission to use their photographs to show you the land, the animals, and the waters I love so much.
I have divided these pictures into the following groups. While there is plenty of overlap I hope this will make viewng easier :
The Animals | Yellowstone area |
Riverviews | Small Streams |
Flowers | Fish or Fishing |
Landscapes | Mountains |
