Today s work consists of one of the nicest pipes of the year. A four star Pristine straight grain! I have to thank Charlie Rodriguez for asking me to make the shape in a Coral finish, and Bob Hamlin for posting the original Larsen pipe as shape # 483
I had an instant case of pipe lust and decided to make a few of them , hopefully , one for me too. I can t imagine anything coming out better than this one though. Here are some pix of it, a size 5 Pristine finish. It s available on the web catalog as

As I couldn t wait to get some pix of the pipe up, it still needs some inner bowl sanding and the star added to stem. The little ding between the inner bowl and rim will be sanded out. See you in Newark !
