Todays work consists of the first new pipes since my eye surgery, hopefully they re nice and round....In speaking with other pipe makers, the subject of what a "true" billiard is ,often comes up. So as a pipe making exersize the billiard was my first test. I m pretty happy with the results. A two star straight grain in the new Sunset finish, a triple stain. Available on the web catalog as:

Continuing to work on the basics I went next to my Catalog shape #12, a large rhodesain. I have two for the web catalog in the Black and Tan finish, Size 5+

Being satisfied with how I was doing I attempted a more difficult shape, A Hawkbill. This one is on hold as a special order for a good customer. This will be the first pipe stamped "Sunrise" which I had been calling Red-Gold/ Pristine.
