Todays work consists of a couple special orders and a pipe for the web store.On Thursday I had the pleasure to meet Weston Tompkins from the ASP newsgroup. We ve corresponded over the past year and I ve made him some pipes. We had hoped to meet at one of the regional shows but it never worked out. He mentioned he was going to be on business in NYC; I offered him the "tour of the shop" if he could spring some time. He took the bus to my town and we able to spend the afternoon together. I made this pipe demonstrating my pipe making technique.

The next two pipes are special orders. The first is based on a Cavvicchi owned by Mike Cherba he thought a tad small, he asked me to make one similar with a larger bowl:
